Judge Leo Strine, Jr., nominated by Gov. Markell to become Delaware’s new chief justice, says he is personally opposed to the death penalty. As a member of the Board of Pardons, he voted to recommend commutation of a killer’s death sentence.
Meet and Greets for Murder Victims’ Family Members
Murder Victims Families for Reconciliation (MVFR) is sponsoring several meet and greet events for murder victims’ family members. Each event is informal and is an opportunity for family members to get to know other MVFR family members and learn more about the work that MVFR is doing to end the death penalty in Delaware. There will also be discussion on how family members can get more involved.
